


Refreshing the Brand of Lafayette’s Most
Trusted Orthodontic Practice
When Searcy Orthodontics, one of Lafayette’s most recognized orthodontic practices, changed hands, the new owners were ready for a fresh look that matched the new name and their vision for the future. My goal was to honor the practice’s well-established reputation while giving it a refined, modern identity that reflected their vision moving forward.
The new Johnson Orthodontics brand strikes a balance between professionalism and approachability. The custom “JO” monogram features subtle graphic detailing on the “J” as a subtle nod to the orthodontic field. We paired this with an earthy, sophisticated color palette to convey warmth, trust, and a sense of grounded expertise. I also created a temporary logo, 'Johnson & Searcy Orthodontics', to carry them through the new ownership transition.
Beyond the logo, I designed a full suite of brand assets, creating a cohesive visual system for everything from stationery and signage to digital graphics. The result is a brand identity that feels timeless, welcoming, and perfectly aligned with the next chapter of this successful Lafayette practice.
